We advise for an early start today to Kargil on the way through a beautiful place Sonmarg and we cross Zozi La (3033 M) to enter in Leh valley, which is a different experience where we pass through Drass, the second coldest inhabited place on earth and you can have spectacular view of Kargil War famous Peaks Tiger Hill and Tololing Peak.
Arrive Kargil in the evening check inn at hotel for overnight stay.

Kargil-Srinagar-8764Day 05(04 Aug. 2015): Kargil – Lamayuru: 7/8 hours ride, 125 kms, 2600meters, over Fotu la 4,200meters

Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.

MG_6819Day 06(05 Aug. 2015): Lamayuru – Photoksar – Leh (3510 M/150 KMS / 7 – 8 HRS): After breakfast we ride to the Leh but before that we ride to Photoksar the earlier trekking route to Zanskar. This is new road which is very less explored by riders or drivers, continuing the same road back we further ride to Impressive Lamayuru Monastery.
Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.

khardung_laDay 07(06 Aug. 2015): Leh – Khardungla – Hyunder 125kms, 6/7h on the road.
We will start the day riding up to the Khardung Pass (which holds the title of the ‚World’s Highest Motor able Road‘) for a cup of chai and some stunning views. At over 17,500ft you’ll be short of puff, so it will be a quick stop before we head down the other side of the pass and descend to Khardung village. This is a very isolated area, the road only having been opened to traffic as recently as 1984. From Khardung the scenery opens into some of the most magnificent views imaginable, and the vast Nubra valley. Nubra, being bordered by both China and Pakistan, is of great strategic importance and outsiders are not allowed beyond the village of Hundar. It is in this furthest accessible village that we will stop for the night, sleeping comfortably under canvass in the peaceful grounds of a disused Buddhist monastery.
Overnight stay and dinner at hotel/camp.

Kargil-Srinagar-8777Day 08(07 Aug. 2015): Nubra Valley – Hyunder to Pangong Tso-180kms 7/8h on the road.
From Nubra we will take a new route, only completed in 2010, but this road is always under construction, every year harsh winter snowfall and avalanche destroy the road, we’ll negotiate constantly hairpins and some impressive road sights from Nubra to the equally impressive Changtang Valley. More sinuous tarmac will bring the deep blue Pangong Lake into view, alongside which we will ride until we arrive at our camp, which is as far as the road towards Chinese-infested Tibet goes. Again, the beauty of this destination borders on unfeasibility, the quality of the high-altitude light is reflected from the salt water giving the area an otherworldly feel,
Overnight stay & dinner in a fixed camp on the bank of lake.

MG_6441Day 09(08 Aug. 2015): Pangong Tso To Tso-Mo-Riri Via Upshi 250 Kms, 8/9 hours on the road.
We will be riding 250 kms today so it is best to start early from Pnagong lake. We will go to Tso Moriri from Pangong Tso directly via the remote and ever beautiful Changthang region. The ride between Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri is one of the most beautiful rides in whole Ladakh region. Foreigners are not allowed to go beyond Man – Merak Villages as permits are not issued to them for this route. We stop at a check post where you need to submit your permits.
Chumathang itself has little to offer to a visitor apart from a few local roadside restaurants, a Gompa and hot water springs. A quick lunch stop would suffice for most, instead we make our own track, riding off road and following the numerous tracks left by passing vehicles. The last 30kms are a pain, but a boon for those who love off road riding! The track here is a mix of sand and dirt trails littered with small stones. However the view one gets at the end of it makes it all worth it.
Overnight stay and dinner at Camp.

Peter-Makreiter-e1418204128506Day 10(09 Aug. 2015): Tso Moriri (Korzok) to Tsokar 90 km 6hours on the road.
From Korzok we back track to the Junction Sumdo and from there take the diversion to reach Tso- Kar. This road tends to be a bit rough for some but great fun for those who appreciate off road motor biking!! It is believed that Tso- Kar was once connected to Tso- Moriri, even though TsoKar has salt water lake while Tso Mo-riri has fresh water… The area surrounding Tso- Kar is protected. Dinner & overnight in a fixed camp.

motorradbekleidung-dane-trophy-key201411-300x1991Day 11(10 Aug. 2015): Tsokar to Jispa 240 kms, 8-9 hrs Lachulang la pass 5,060 mtr (16,602 feet) Baralacha pass 4890 meters
Today we climb up to the Lachlung pass at 5,060 meters. Lachlung, Once over the pass you’ll enjoy the winding ‘switchbacks’ known as the Gata Loops all the way down to Sarchu. We stop in Bhaartpur to have a chai before we tackle the Baralacha pass.
Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.

DANE-TRANSHIMALYA-2014-Chandhigar-Manali-67 Day 12(11 Aug. 2015): Jispa to Manali 135kms, 6 -7 hours including the Rohtang pass 3980 meters
Today is a short but pure bliss ride of bad roads! Streams to cross, frozen puddles and dirt tracks to navigate all the way up to and back over the Rohtang pass. We’ll take our chai and lunch break at Marhi before descending back to the lush green of the Kullu valley, the sparkling Bease River and finally you are back in Manali! As it’s the last night of this adventure we’ll celebrate and party with all our new friends.
Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
